Angel Messages - Tarot of Dragons: The Chariot

Today’s card is in honour of a friend who passed recently after a brave battle with cancer. She introduced me to this beautiful Tarot of the Dragons deck, and I feel it was a whisper from her to have it bring today’s message to you. Card # VII – The Chariot speaks to us about moving forward with wisdom and strength just as she did during her last few years on this planet. It holds a message of inspiration for all of us as we experience the roller coaster ride of challenges and triumphs, fear and joy, disappointment and celebration through this year of transformation.
As some of you may know, I work with my dragons daily to help bring healing energy and love to the planet. My primary white dragon appeared just over a year ago and was soon joined by a charcoal grey partner Several months later, a legion of grey dragons appeared to guard the planet surrounding it wing tip to wing tip. Recently we have also been joined by a blue dragon to assist us in our work. It is interesting that two of the three dragon colours are present on today’s card. (You get to decide if the dark dragon is charcoal or black,) Let’s dive deeper to find the messages they bring…
My Messages:
Moving Forward
The beautiful golden chariot pulled by two powerful dragons brings in the energy of forward movement. During this “five universal month” (according to numerology) we have the freedom to explore, to move forward on our journey. The card pulled in January for this month (See Angel Messages for Each Month of 2025 – Part 1 Jan-June) showed us that this month is a time to celebrate our successes. We have journeyed through many ups and downs, and we deserve to celebrate how far we have come. The golden chariot in the image is certainly a sign of that success and celebration!
Spirit is telling us to capitalize on our successes to maintain momentum in our transformation. The person in the chariot is dressed in gold and red – both colours of Archangel Uriel, the Archangel of transformation. He also supports us in bringing in epiphanies and brilliant ideas as we learn the lessons we are meant to face.
You Have the Power
One of the first things that struck me was how powerful the dragons appear to be. Yet, the driver of the chariot seems to easily handle the reins, single handedly guiding them. Spirit is telling us “This figure is you! You are ‘in the driver’s seat.’ You have the power and control of your destiny.” The golden chariot as well as the driver’s golden robes are the colour of the solar plexus chakra – our power centre. This card is very clearly telling us to stand in our power; to know that we have control over where we want our lives to go; that we do not need to bow to the will of others.
We are supported by the strength and energy of the dragons pulling us forward. The white dragon represents truth, honesty, and enlightenment while the charcoal dragon brings in the energy of balance and neutrality. Together, both dragons magnify wisdom. They also represent duality – dark and light, negative and positive, masculine and feminine. One of our main tasks this year is to work towards a balance of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energy in our lives. That way we will benefit from working with the positive traits of both energies. These dragons are showing us the huge energetic support available to us on our journey and are inviting us to call it in, to work with them to move forward.
There are more angels working with the dragons to support us. The chariot is moving through the night over a city in the clouds under the light of the moon. The moon is associated with Archangel Haniel who supports us in discovering our spiritual gifts. She “has our back” as we embrace the freedom of this month to explore our spiritual gifts. The other Archangel supporting us is Archangel Michael. He can protect us on our journey just as the blue umbrella is protecting the chariot driver - blue is Archangel Michael’s colour.
Consider The Numbers
This is card #7. Seven in angel numbers reassures us tat we are on the right spiritual path. It encourages to take advantage of that freedom this month to explore because doors of opportunity will open for us. It supports us in our power to make good choices and believe in the Divine magic in our lives. The other number that stands out to me is the number two because there are two dragons pulling the chariot. Two speaks to me of the partnerships and cooperation of the Divine Feminine energy. Be watchful for opportunities in that arena. Two in angel numbers also reminds us to “don’t stop believing” – believing in your dreams and in yourself. Keep the faith. Don’t give up. Reach out for help. Know that anything you are concerned about will be OK.
Call On Your Dragon
For many of us this year so far has been very challenging and exhausting as things that have
been deeply buried have slowly risen to the surface for us to learn from, perhaps forgive, reconcile, and then release. The dragons are celebrating with us and want us to now we have the power to continue to move forward and that they are right there with us. As I have mentioned before, it is believed that we all have a dragon just as we have Guardian Angels. If you are not feeling in your power or you are not sure about your next move forward, call upon your dragons to assist you, to guide you. They are part of your spiritual team just as the angels are. All you need to do is ask.
Guidebook Messages
“Huang-di, the Yellow Lord, travels across his kingdom, a pair of dragons, black and white – yin and yang – pulling his chariot.
The Yellow Lord is a conqueror of the physical, rather than the spiritual. His triumphs are more feats of brain than brawn, more skill than brute force. Dragons respect that. His authority springs from will, wisdom, and mental acuity. Where he goes, even into the most untamed wilderness, enlightenment follows, for he carries civilization with him. Dragons respect that, too. Out of this respect, they consent - for now – to the Lord’s rein, to guide him with balance and strength on his journey. In the company of dragons, Huang-di is humbled. He knows that they serve at their pleasure, and will go their separate ways should his will weaken, his purpose waiver. Should he fail to measure up to their standards.
As dragons know and Sun Tzu said, “The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.” Thought and balance bring success. Upright and honest rule the day.
Look to control your surroundings with will and reason. Let mastery of self guide you through the world. Move steadily forward; face your problems, use your head. Though you feel wildly self-confident – and perhaps rightly so – temper boldness with intellect and integrity. Be respectful of greater powers – you are but human, after all. And, as days unfold and the unexpected crops up, give the dragons their heads. Trust their balance and wisdom. They will take you where you need to go and show you talents you never knew you had. You will taste triumph in the air.”
I know my dear friend is now soaring with her dragons and angels, but I believe the message
today is that we don’t have to wait until we transition to the other side to experience the magic of the dragons. They are with us now more than ever, wanting to assist us in the increasing turmoil of our world. So, take a moment today – sit quietly and call upon your dragons. What do they look like? What colour are they? What can you feel from them? Ask them for help – I promise you won’t regret it!
