Angel Messages - You Are Protected

Although we have heard from him only a few months ago, Archangel Michael has come forward again with a message he really wants all of us to receive. I know he is with many of you on a regular basis as he is with me, and he is extremely happy and proud to be there for all of us. His messages are always so clear, straight forward, and definitely relevant to what is happening in our lives. His message today is via The Archangel Michael Sword of Light Oracle Deck created by Radleigh Valentine. The message aligns with how we often think of him as a warrior and protector and is definitely relevant for those of us who feel the energy of global unrest and uncertainty. The card is #39 You Are Protected.

Take a Leap of Faith

As we leave behind a year of change, release, and transformation that was very challenging

for many, some may be stepping into this new “one universal year” with hesitation and trepidation. This coming year promises more change to come in the form of positive opportunities for growth. We are encouraged to become the leaders in our life, to manifest a life that aligns with our purpose. Does that make you feel a little shaky after a year of challenges that brought up so much to release? Well, Archangel Michael wants you to take that leap of faith when a move forward feels aligned with your soul. He promises that he is right by your side and that “You can proceed with confidence.”

Archangel Michael’s role is also to assist us with finding and living our life’s purpose. If you are contemplating a change or considering grasping an opportunity that has popped up quickly, reach out to him and simply ask what would be in your highest good. If you are overwhelmed with opportunities which might occur during the month of March, ask him to help you prioritize. This first month of the year, Spirit is giving us time to plan our next steps, to get clear on what we want our life to look like and more importantly, feel like. Archangel Michael also came through in the card for this month (see our video Angel Messages for Each Month of 2026 – Part 1 Jan-June) providing us with support to plan and get organized. He really is doing his best to help us proceed with confidence knowing we are safe and protected.

A Bubble of Protection

The continuing rapid changes on the global economic and political stage, have generated a lot of fear, worry, anger, and mistrust for much of the populations on the planet. This negative energy is held in the collective consciousness and can be felt by many. The impact shows up as angry, depressed, or fearful feelings and behaviour on a personal level but you often cannot identify the source of those emotions and behaviours. Does that sound familiar? Have you had days recently when you cannot figure out why you feel so bad when, looking at your life objectively, everything should feel pretty good? Do you find just the energy of the news blaring in a different room of the house can still pull you down? Do you find yourself getting caught up in political discussions, slipping into the rabbit hole, complaining of world events in anger or fear, perhaps even feeling hopeless or threatened personally? If global events are impacting you in this way, remember Archangel Michael is holding out his hand to pull you out of that rabbit hole - all you have to do is reach out and take it. He is there to help you get back on track, back onto your track to fulfilling your life purpose. Your Guardian Angels are also chiming in with a reminder that they too are always at your side waiting to assist in any scenario. You just need to ask. As a proactive move to prevent any of the above scenarios, Archangel Michael tells us, “You are safe within my bubble of light.” He is offering, just as the image on the card illustrates, to shield us from all that does not serve us with a protective bubble of white light around us. This energetic bubble will be perfect and protect you any way you imagine it to.

Reading today’s card also provided me with a personal “aha moment.” As I read about Archangel Michael’s protective bubble of light, I was reminded of a new light that came to me in my daily meditation a few weeks back. After I experienced the dawn of the white lotus that I described a few blogs back, (see The White Lotus), a new light entered my morning meditation. It is a golden white light coming from what Spirit described as “Christ Consciousness” down to me and flowing not into my crown chakra, but flowing down the entire outside of my body as Spirit describes “like liquid honey.” When it arrived, I thought, “that’s interesting” and accepted it for whatever it was meant to be trusting Spirit would give me further explanation when I was ready for it. Well today was the day. It suddenly struck me that this layer of beautiful golden white light was my protection from any negative energy that might “take me off path.” It gives me energetic support for deciding what perspective I want to take of any negativity in my life. Reflecting on this, I have felt more peaceful and aligned lately. It has become easier to not get pulled into the negativity of global events and to trust that Spirit will have everything unfold as it should for our highest good. I still have had a few moments of consternation lately though. I believe those moments highlight that specific people are in my life to help me to learn. I have asked for help to take a non-judgemental perspective on those situations and to feel compassion for those people. More consciously tapping into my golden-white shield of protection and asking Archangel Michael for help may very well further improve those situations.

Protection and Healing

As a healer I have heard different perspectives on protection. A perspective that I learned of early on in my spiritual journey was that if everything happens in our lives for our highest good then there is nothing that would come into our lives that we would need protection from. There may be events, people, energy, etc. that we perceive as negative, but this perspective holds that those things are in our lives to teach us something so we can grow spiritually. When I am fully and completely trusting Source in my heart, this is all I have ever needed to feel safe in my life and in my work as a healer. With this trust in place, I can also get curious about something that may enter my life or my energetic field that may at first present as something very negative or scary. Instead of recoiling in fear, I firmly stand my ground and assert that energies can enter my field “only as Divine intended.” With that assertion/command if the perceived “negative energy” stays then I can ask what I am to learn from it.

However, if and when that trust waivers, and I allow a fear of something to take hold, which

is when I call in an “outside source” of protection like Archangel Michael. Being on this “human journey” there are times when a negative thought can creep in and elicit the emotion of fear or frustration which only invite more of the same energetic vibrations into my field. So, while I work on clearing those negative thoughts and feelings, I will ask Archangel Michael for some help – a bubble of his blue or white light as well as assistance in releasing the thoughts or emotions that do not serve me.

Whatever your perspective on protection is, it is personal and relevant for you. Whatever protection looks like to you – candles, crystals, affirmations, rituals, etc. – if it feels positive then it is relevant for you. Use it whenever your intuition prompts you to. Sometimes receiving protection from an outside source is only temporary until we, as Archangel Michael says, “can proceed with confidence.” For example, the bubble reminds me of the tools I am learning about in my medical intuitive training where anyone working on healing can place themselves in a bubble of white light from Source to feel safe and protected as they work through deep seated traumas that are the source of illness. Eventually when that trauma is released, they come back to their own connection with Source and to their own power as a spiritual being.

What’s in the Numbers?

This is card number thirty-nine. The three represents communication (with our angels) and creativity - this is a time to create the life we want to live, and we are safe to do so! The nine is a number of completion. Anything that had us feeling unsafe or not confident is “wrapped up.” We are finished with those scenarios and safe to move forward with confidence. Nine in angel numbers also means you are on purpose! Together, the numbers add up to twelve which reduces down to three again. Spirit’s message is reinforced that we are safe to create the lives we want to live. We are protected in the light of the Divine. Lastly. Three in angel numbers means our entire spiritual team is behind us supporting us all along our journey.

Guidebook Messages (channeled from Archangel Michael)

“I have placed you in my personal sphere of sapphire-blue light to keep you safe. My sword and shield are also defending you against any unwanted energies. I am protecting you now from physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual harm. This security is meant to give you the confidence necessary to progress on the path you are inspired to walk.

When you are in a place of fear regarding your physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual safety, think of me. Say, ‘Dear Archangel Michael, be with me here and now so that I can feel safe and act from a place of courage.’ You can say this aloud or quietly in your mind. The way in which you reach out doesn’t matter, only that you do. Picture me walking alongside you throughout the day… because I am.”   

You Are Safe – Shine Your Light

In summary, Archangel Michael’s message is a reassurance that we are safe. If and when we feel otherwise, he is instantly at our side to protect us in his bubble of light until we feel confident enough to proceed on our journey in our own light. The more we step into our authentic selves connected with Source and our inner light, the more we become a beacon of safety for others. Archangel Michael acknowledges that there are times when we may need help with that. He is there to lend a hand as are our Guardian Angels. We do not need to push them away in fearful moments thinking that we are not worthy of the help or that we should be strong enough to “do this on our own.” The angels are with us to work in partnership with us. They love us unconditionally and are eager to help us. They remind us that reaching out for help is a sign of strength not weakness. They are bringing in the phrase “no man is an island.” They want us to remember that we are all connected and “what benefits one benefits the many.”

So, as we embark on this exciting year of new beginnings, know that you are safe. Remember

that you are a cherished Child of the Divine, loved unconditionally by Source and all of the angels. You are safe to do the work this year of stepping more into your authentic self. You are safe to shine your light brighter and brighter. You are safe from any negative opinions about who you are. You are brilliant, beautiful, and loved. You are safe and protected to proceed on your journey with confidence and lead the way for others. Are you ready? Shine on.
