Angel Messages - Joan of Arc

Marilyn Young

It has been almost a year since we have heard from the Divine Masters Oracle created by Kyle Gray, but today this deck wanted to share a card with you. You may remember that this deck’s messages are from “a congregation of light beings, spiritual guides, and souls who have dedicated themselves to the healing and nurturing of the world.” Also known as “ascended masters” the Divine Masters have many members who have walked the planet as humans, so they understand the complexities of being human as well as being spiritual at the same time. Because they are available for assisting us in healing and transformation this year of transformation is an opportune time to call upon them.

The Divine Master stepping forward to assist us today, is Joan of Arc. This is the second time Joan of Arc has appeared to us as she recently came through as the warrior in my blog The Wise Woman and the Warrior. As described in that blog, she is known as a saint and a heroine for her role in the Hundred Years War in pushing the English out of France. She was a visionary who spoke to God, Archangel Michael, and many saints. On this card, Gray labels her as the “Sacred Activist.”

My Messages:

Who better to bring us messages of courage and strength at this time of conflict and turmoil

on our planet than Joan of Arc!? As so many are feeling helpless and hopeless in the face of political upheaval across the planet and its potential dire consequences, this Divine Master is reminding us of the immense strength of Spirit we all posses. Just as the brilliant golden light shines behind her, so does the love and support of Source shine down on us. We have only to open our hearts to love and compassion, versus fear and anger, to feel the support of Source. This saint had unshakable faith in the face of adversity. This year of release and transformation is asking us to step up and grow our faith in Spirit and our belief in ourselves. She is the heroic role model for standing up for what she feels is right and just, and the will of God. Her appearance today is telling us we have the same strength to do the same thing. We have the inner strength to stand up for our values and beliefs, we just need to believe in ourselves, be true to ourselves, and stand in our power. How is your inner strength? Have you had the opportunity lately to standup for your beliefs? If and when you do, know that you are supported by Spirit when you approach the world from the heart.

Just as the challenging circumstances around her deepened Joan of Arc’s faith, the challenges we face are also opportunities for us to grow in our belief and trust in Spirit. In the image, she holds two swords. The one in her right hand, she appears to hold in a defensive posture. She is holding the other in her left hand, but she is holding the shaft versus the handle of the sword, as if offering it to us to take hold of. The swords are reminiscent of Archangel Michael’s sword of light. Perhaps she is offering us that sword so we can sever any connections we have to things that no longer serve us, that bring in fear and other low vibrational emotions that “stunt” our spiritual growth. The swords also remind us that we can call on Archangel Michael at any time for assistance in standing up for our values and beliefs. The two swords are held parallel and appear balanced in their positioning. This balance is reminiscent of the balance we are moving towards with the incoming Divine Feminine energy to balance the Divine Masculine.

“Two,” as in two swords, is the number representing partnerships. This is a reminder that there is strength in numbers, and we should partner with those who share our beliefs. Two in angel numbers also tells us “Don’t stop believing” -so a message to believe in ourselves and the love and compassion of our beliefs. As we become more connected to our true self, our inner most values and beliefs, we will be called upon to stand up for who we truly are. As you change with this connection, some may no longer recognize you and may challenge the “new you.” This is an opportunity to demonstrate your strength and stand up for yourself.

Joan of Arc here is labelled the “silent activist.” She is telling us that “actions speak louder than words,” to act on our beliefs, to live according to them. The silent activist holds sufficient love and light in their heart that there is a ripple effect to others and can affect positive change without ever verbally addressing it. Have you witnessed any such change in your life? I had an experience with this today. I had a very negative interaction with someone early in the day which was upsetting. After that interaction, I sat down to connect to my heart and asked what my next steps should be. I heard one word, “compassion.” So, I worked on opening my heart and flooding it with compassion for that person. I instantly felt better. About an hour later I received another phone call from the same person, and they were a completely different demeanour - calm and positive. I smiled as I was witnessing the ripple effect in action! Imagine, if we felt that compassion everyday for the entire world what an effect it could have!

Guidebook Messages:

“Don’t be afraid of being your true authentic self. Don’t be afraid of the passion that is moving through you. Don’t be afraid of the power and gifts that you were born with. Right now, there is a huge opportunity for you to stand up for what you know and what you believe. You might feel that the world is against you, but there is something in your spirit that is telling you not to give up. If you feel unrecognized or misunderstood, don’t let this lack of validation get between you and what you know is right. Today’s message is a message of confirmation – you are on to something and it’s important that you don’t pull back. Keep going, keep driving, and keep pushing, because your truth will prevail.

The greatest support you can have is the support of the Universe. Call in the light of God and the angels and stand strong in your beliefs, because the challenge you are facing is an opportunity to understand the purpose of your life. Believe. Trust. Go!”

I hope this was helpful for you. As you continue to focus on the image on the card listen for the messages it brings you. Feel your belief grow at every turn and see every challenge as an opportunity to grow in that trust and belief.

I would love to hear your feedback about how this card’s message has resonated with you. If you find that you are wanting some assistance standing up for your beliefs, I am offering individual intuitive counselling and angel card readings online or in person (in Calgary).

Sending love and light,

Marilyn
