"Thy Will Be Done"

Today is a special day in this year of transformation. We have just come through the most

intense weeks of deep release all year and now we are ready for today’s 10/10 (Oct 10) portal energies of completion and new beginnings. Are you ready? Or are you like me and feel like a giant ping pong ball still being bounced back and forth between triggers about things you thought you had released and then realizing there is still more of the lesson to learn? No worries! This is our time to figure it all out. If you are ready to manifest new adventures, new paths forward in your life, even a new you, this is your time to see your way forward with clarity and co-create the life you want. If you feel as if you are still in the thick of it, take heart! You are just winding up that deep healing we talked about a couple of weeks ago (see “A Time for Deep Healing”) and Spirit is offering us a few more suggestions to get us down that home stretch…

When I look back at the card I pulled for this month at the beginning of the year, it had all the answers we need today. The “Ego” card from Radleigh Valentine's Angel Wisdom Tarot (see “Angel Messages for Each Month of 2025 Part 2: July – Dec”) speaks to us about a final big challenge regarding releasing the negativity of the ego, limiting beliefs, and destructive behaviors. The message included reminders that we are only responsible for ourselves and that we have the power to make choices that support our happiness. The card illustrated the illusion of being trapped reminding us that our thoughts and feelings create our world and we have the power to see opportunities and make changes. It reminded us that we have free will and that we can choose to be a victim or take charge of our lives. We can choose to heal, we can choose to co-create the reality we want to live in, we can choose to be free. As we break away from the restrictions of our ego the card tells us that we are at a major turning point and that we have the strength and foundation to move forward in our growth.

The Final Challenge

So, are you at the point of releasing the final big challenge? You have listened to your body, released so many physical symptoms and emotions, avoided all the “rabbit holes” that have presented themselves to you, and worked on balance. What then is missing? Why is there still more work to do? What is holding us back from our new beginnings? Why do you keep getting negative emotional triggers? Those are the questions I have been asking myself as I continue to be presented with challenging conversations and situations with a family member. I have released judgment and my sense of responsibility about the relationship, and I thought I had surrendered the challenges with this relationship to Source (see “Surrender”). BUT when I looked closer with the help of another skilled spiritual practitioner, I discovered that I had only surrendered a particular individual situation involving this person and not all the challenges with the relationship. What I found was that although my heart was open with love for this person, I was also sending a lot of energy from my solar plexus as I tried to help them maneuver events in their life. I was truly trying to act in their best interest, but my solar plexus chakra was telling me that I was subconsciously trying to control the outcomes. I was subconsciously “willing” the situations to proceed in a certain way.

I was surprised by this discovery but had to admit that it fit with a lot of scenarios over the course of my life where I can remember really hoping that a specific situation would work out in a specific way for someone that I cared about because I thought that would be the best outcome for them. What I have come to realize is that my love for them was not unconditional and by “willing”/hoping for a certain outcome to occur, I was not respecting their free will. I was forgetting that I did not know their whole story, their spiritual path, or the lessons they had chosen to learn. With this new discovery I have been working to redirect my energy to my heart to truly feel and embody that unconditional surrender. The last few days as I have consciously worked on this, Spirit gave me a phrase to affirm this work, “Thy will be done.” I am completely surrendering to Source all of the challenges with this person and trusting that things will work out in their best interest. I am stepping back from being “the fixer” to allow their path to unfold as it should. I believe that is the answer to my question regarding what I am to learn from this relationship. I know that it takes me another step closer to the final stages of my lesson in responsibility.

So, what about you? If you are still struggling with challenges that you thought you had surrendered to Source, are you still subconsciously willing specific outcomes to occur? Do you need to anchor in your heart a complete surrender and affirm to Source “Thy will be done”?

Happiness is a Choice

As the card tells us, we can choose our happiness. We can break free from the challenges presented to us and release the negativity of the ego. By living life from our heart versus our ego and remembering to focus on the only person we are truly responsible for, ourselves, we can create our happiness. Part of that happiness is learning to love ourselves and knowing that we are worth having a happy life. We also need to be willing to receive that happiness. We need to open our heart to it and welcome it into our lives. If you cannot see your way to that happiness, Spirit wants you to understand that being trapped in negativity is only an illusion. That same “will of Source” that you surrendered to for others, is there for you. Just as you can affirm in your relationship with others, you can affirm for yourself “Thy will be done.” As we have been asked to learn throughout this year, TRUST that Spirit is there to support you and your highest good.

Entering the 10/10 Portal

As we enter the 10/10 portal, the “Ego” card reminds us that we are at a major turning point

in our life. Could this turning point be that final release with many new opportunities on the horizon? Ask we trust that Spirit has our back and bring unconditional love into our heart, we can also fill ourselves with gratitude. The love and gratitude in our hearts will bring in more opportunities to amplify those feelings. How can you be grateful for a challenge you might ask, especially if it is a repeated one? When we surrender that challenge to Source, we can be grateful that we are free. We can be grateful that we are no longer pulled into a spiral of negativity. We can be grateful that the plan that Source has for us will always be orchestrated for our highest good even when we are in the darkest times. We can be grateful that our spiritual team is always there supporting us. Our Angels are always ready to lift us gently into their arms when we fall. Our Guides are there to whisper encouragement for each baby step that we take forward on our journey. The Ascended Masters are always showing their light to lead the way, and all our past loved ones are cheering us on as we move forward.

Today’s portal brings in the energy of new beginnings with the support of the Divine. So, take a deep breath, re-examine the challenges you are experiencing, and know that you are not trapped. Remember that you have free will to make changes. If you are stuck in a loop of negativity, break free and surrender to the Divine’s plan for you. Huge opportunities await you if you are open to them. Be willing to receive with love and gratitude in your heart. We are on the brink of exciting times. What will your turning point be when you acclaim “Thy will be done"?
