When contemplating today’s blog, Spirit kept whispering to me for most of the day, “the strength of the Divine Feminine.” I believe Spirit was describing the amazing strong spiritual women I know who are undergoing such incredible transformation as they come into their power. They have worked through many challenges with the quiet strength and compassion of the Divine Feminine. So, today’s card is in honour of them and all of you coming into your power with a calm and compassionate heart centred approach to adversity. The card is from the Goddess Power Oracle by Collette Baron-Reid. It is card #15 Freya - Radical Acceptance.

My Messages

Strength

When I pulled today’s card and turned it over, I had to smile. Spirit could not have given us a

ree

stronger and more powerful looking goddess. In fact, Freya comes to us dressed as a warrior as she is indeed the Norse goddess of war. Her red hair is reminiscent of the element of fire which is associated with energy assertiveness, and passion, all components of strength. She appears powerful and ready to confront any adversary. Likewise, she is urging you to stand in your power.

She is also the archetype of a practitioner of Norse magic. Her headdress is made of a diverse collection of feathers surrounding her illuminated crown chakra. Feathers symbolize a connection to Spirit. The black and white feathers symbolize a balance between the spiritual and physical world. As we grow spiritually, we are encouraged to find that balance. The feathers also symbolize protection and the resolution of conflict., reassuring the warrior of safety and solutions. The red feathers symbolize energy and passion, while the grey feathers represent neutrality, peace, compromise - qualities of the Divine Feminine energy. Just like Freya, we have the strength to withstand the chaos and conflict in the world around us. As we go within and reconnect with our true selves, as we accept who we truly are and embrace the incoming Divine feminine energy, we will be able to withstand the trauma and negativity of the chaotic world.

Above her determined gaze showing us her strength, Freya’s third eye I also illuminated bringing in the power of Spirit. There appears to be a white glow behind the figure perhaps symbolizing support from the Divine for her strength. She is reminding us that we are protected in the world’s chaos, the universe “has our back.” The green background symbolizes healing. As we follow our passion and stand in our power we find healing.

Be True to You

This goddess’ name is Freya, which is associated with love, fertility, beauty - qualities of the Divine Feminine energy. The message on the card is “radical acceptance.” Goddess Freya appears to be telling us to stand in our power and accept who we are. She is telling us to

ree

embrace the Divine Feminine and our inner magic to follow our passion; to be true to who we know we are rather than becoming who others would like us to be. As we stand in our power and radically accept our uniqueness, we become more connected to the Divine. As we accept our true selves unconditionally, we begin to heal. Can you radically accept who you are? Can you stand in your power?

The Numbers Speak

This is card number fifteen. The one is indicating to us that new beginnings are approaching. As we embrace our true selves and follow our passion, we can ride the wave of the Divine Feminine energy into that new beginning. Number five tells us that change is coming so to look for the opportunities that those changes bring. Perhaps that coming opportunity is to radically accept your Divine uniqueness. Together 1 + 5 = 6. Number six in numerology often speaks to us about responsibility. As part of learning that life lesson we must learn to set boundaries as part of self-care. Will the coming changes allow you to seize the opportunity to set healthy boundaries so that you can follow your passion and express your uniqueness? Angel number six is giving us a heads up to rethink some of our decisions. It is a reminder to pay attention to our surroundings and refocus on positive thoughts. So, as new challenges arise stand in your power and don't allow yourself to be pulled into any negativity. Freya is telling you that you have the strength and the courage to do so. She is telling you to radically accept who you are and to grow and heal in that uniqueness as you connect to the Divine.

Guidebook Messages:

“When you see life is a battleground you lose sight of a more easeful way to be in the world. Can you stand in the middle of the chaos and allow yourself to centre in the quiet hum in the eye of the storm? Let the peace of Freya, the Norse goddess of war, enter your mind. Amid the flurry of battle, she came to collect the fallen and bring them to a place of rest and recuperation.

Freya is here to remind you that the acceptance of defeat is not the end. She offers the gift of acceptance, the knowing that there is nothing to resist right now. See your world at face value and look into it with discernment. When you see with greater clarity, not taking this world so personally, you will not have to fight at all. If you take full stock of your conditions, surrendering to what is, you can move to higher ground, begin again, or wait until the drama dies down on its own.

You are the strongest, most grounded, and most powerful when you remember this is the strategy that goddess Freya offers in your support.”

I hope this was helpful for you. I know this year of transformation with often has us feeling as

ree

if we are in the middle of a war. When that happens, know how strong you are and know you can move forward.
