Some of you may remember meeting my white dragon in the Spring when she came forward after my trip to Kauai, Hawaii. I have been working with her daily ever since and we have been joined occasionally in the last month by a new dragon who is charcoal grey in colour. Just as the white dragon symbolizes wisdom so does the charcoal grey. My white dragon also brings in the energy of truth, honesty, and enlightenment while my charcoal dragon brings in the energy of balance and neutrality. Today, Spirit guided me to pull a card for you from a deck I have recently acquired – The Tarot of Dragons by Shawn MacKenzie. I am sure both of my dragons will be assisting to interpret the card pulled which is the 10 of Swords.
My Messages:
Dive Deep
This beautiful card amazingly aligns fully with the transformative energy of today’s New Moon
in Scorpio. This New Moon’s energy supports any shadow work we may need to do to move into the transformation and new beginnings of the month of November. It encourages us to go deep within to find and address any issue, emotions, and vulnerabilities that we may have buried so we can release them once and for all. This intense work is illustrated by today’s card. The element of the of this suit’s dragon is air and the sword suit represents thoughts or mental activity. The card shows the skeleton of a slain dragon. The skeleton partially buried under rocks, is representing those deep thoughts, emotions or experiences that we have had buried deeply in the shadows. The card is telling us it is time to bring those to the surface to be rid of. In releasing what no longer serves us, we “slay” that buried dragon. The card is so explicit that it shows one of the swords piercing the head/brain – the home of our thoughts and ego. The fire of the dragon emblazoned on the tip of each of the swords tells us that we can be rid of those things in the shadows by focusing on our passion. Allowing the joy we find in what we love to do/be/feel must be the driver in our lives versus living in fear of what we have tried to hide.
To me, the dragon in the background appears to be celebrating his victory over the slain dragon. Just as he has been, you too will be successful in completing this difficult shadow work. Source will assist you through flashes of insight to guide you, just as the lightning in the illustration is lighting up the dark skies. The gold and green colours of the dragon are the colours of brilliant ideas and higher thought, and of change, creativity, and healing. Negative thoughts will be replaced with higher thoughts connected to your spiritual growth and brilliant epiphanies to move forward. As you shed the old, creativity or following your passion will create the change you need to heal.
By The Numbers
It is also fitting to have the number of the card resonating with today’s date, Nov 1 or 1:11. The ones in today’s date as well as in the card’s number (10) bring the hope of new beginnings as we release those deep-seated fears, energies, beliefs, and thoughts that no longer serve us. The zero is reassuring us that this message is directly from Source who is supporting us. It is an indication that things have come full circle, that our work is wrapping up so we can enter into a time of new beginnings, a time to move on to the next “big thing.”
Call On Your Dragon
I know many of you have had huge struggles lately with a lot of confusing and distressing issues coming forward. Call on your dragon (yes, we all have one, just like we have Guardian Angels) as well as your Angels and Guides to help you work through those shadows. Remember that you chose this hard work as part of the life you designed for yourself this time around, and you chose this work knowing you would be successful. Many of you are so close to victory and the dragon has come forward today to reassure you of that. Use the energy of this powerful New Moon to set your intentions and then allow the Universe to bring them to fruition.

Trust and Keep Moving Forward
As difficult as times are for some of you right now, the dragons want you to trust in yourself
and your strength and in them to assist you. The most difficult battles move us the furthest forward. So today, take a few minutes to sit, relax, and breathe. Then close your eyes and ask your dragon to come forward. Benefit from their love and support as well as their strength and wisdom. They want you to know that you are not alone on your journey. With them you can soar!
