Angel Messages - Ishtar's Lion Gate 888

Today’s card comes from a deck we have not heard from for almost a year. It steps forward today as it did last June to bring a message of light when we need it most amongst the escalating perceived darkness of the world. The card is from the White Light Oracle by Alana Fairchild. You may remember that this mystical deck was created as a pathway to the realm of the sacred, a place that brings deep love and light to your life, to the soul. We enter this realm through the heart. This deck is in perfect alignment with our ongoing spiritual work to become more heart centred. The author tells us that “when we connect with Spirit from the heart, we live in connection with the sacred and experience the deep beauty and spiritual mysteries of life.” She also informs us that white light holds the frequency of all colours as it enables healing for not only ourselves but the entire planet and all the creatures/beings on it. With this healing come peace, love, wisdom, and joy to replace negativity. As we use our light to transmute that negativity, let us tap into the power of today’s card, #44 Ishtar’s Lion Gate 888.

Ishtar’s Duality

Ishtar is a Mesopotamian goddess who represented love and war. What a suitable goddess

to illustrate the state of our world today. With an increase in the warring around the planet, we are also seeing more and more people denouncing it and replacing it with holding a vibration of peace and love. People are finding their voice and joining together to stand up to hate and war.

Many are also experiencing “the war within.” Negative, low vibrational thoughts, emotions, and feelings are surfacing to be acknowledged and then engulfed in love and compassion. Is this something you are experiencing? Are old patterns of negativity rising up to be transmuted? Just as Ishtar embodied both war and love so do we. It is part od the duality in our world. Each helps us recognize the other. As each flow through us we learn and grow. Each is a part of the one. As we learn to balance and merge those parts, we come closer to our centre and to our connection to oneness. Ishtar energy supports us in transmuting negativity into love.

Find Your Power

Ishtar’s symbol is the lion, a symbol of power and strength. This card is a sign that you are ready to come into your power. You have the strength now. The root of your power is balancing the mind and the heart. The lion in the illustration has a light emanating from the third eye and the heart. As you become more heart centred your spiritual connection will become enhanced. We still need the knowledge we hold in our mind, but it evolves into wisdom as we interpret it through the heart.

The Lion’s Gate that occurs in August is a time of powerful manifestation of abundance and prosperity. This card is a reminder of that time and that as you come into your power, balancing the mind and the heart, your thoughts and feelings will manifest quickly even now. You have the power to choose the next version of your reality, so it is important to have a clear vision of what you want.

The lion is also a fierce protector. Spirit wants you to know that you are protected as a Child of the Divine during these tumultuous times on the planet. Also, as you embody your power, you become the protector of the innocent, of those still seeking the light, and of Mother Earth herself. Simply by shining your light and standing in your power you do all these things.

Support from the Numbers

This is card #44. The four in angel numbers is a reminder that you have immense support from the angels right now – you Guardian Angels, Archangels, and Specialty Angels (those who appear to assist with specific needs). They can assist us in staying heart centred, getting clarity on our path forward, and manifesting what is in our highest good. All we need to do is ask. The number four is also about having a firm foundation. All of your work to date has built that foundation for you to stand strong in your power and to assist others to do the same.

The 888 on the card is a powerful message of abundance and prosperity. You are in a time of swift manifestation, so Spirit is reminding you to watch your thoughts and align them with your highest good.

“Your heart has a heightened connection with the higher realms of consciousness and light. A blessing, empowerment and positive omen shall enter your world. Doors will open for you. Abundance and prosperity are headed your way. Take care of your heart. Ask for spiritual assistance, and it shall be granted. Something negative is going to transform into something very positive.

Ishtar is the Queen of the Night, a dark goddess of loss and letting go, but also a priestess of light, who holds the keys to renewal from suffering. She is relentless in her pursuit of the path to true inner freedom. She willingly surrenders her attachments and her identities, even separating herself temporarily from her loved ones, with such boldness and confidence that she crosses into realms where others dare not go. She experiences vulnerability, and in that state discovers deep truth.

Ishtar is the capacity of the soul to integrate our experiences. After reaching the greatest depths of suffering, she emerges and is reinstated upon her rightful throne with even greater wisdom, spiritual power, and compassion. In a reading, she is a guardian and symbol of resurrection. You shall rise again. Those who have felt as though their identity or any other marker of security has been torn away from them are her children. They will find their way back to peace and prosperity under her auspices. If you have been suffering, this Oracle indicates an end of the struggle is imminent. You shall be reassured restore with so much more than you have last.

Ishtar is depicted in the ‘Queen of the Night’ relief that dates back over four thousand years, from ancient Babylon, which was located in the lands of present-day southern Iraq. She is a bird woman priestess, with talons and wings, flanked by owls and lions. She holds sacred tools- a rod and ring - in her hands, is bejeweled and naked, symbolizing her power and freedom. Her symbols are the gate, the eight-pointed star, and the lion. She is considered the goddess of the planet Venus, but the star Sirius is also sacred to her. Its rise each year marks her assent from the dark realms, which ensures prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. Her jewels and tools represent her great power and effectiveness. The stars represent her higher consciousness and loving wisdom and are a sign of great blessing for your life, indicating prosperity, peace, healing, and love.

The Llion's Gate falls when the sun is in Leo. Leo is a sign of the Lion, the astrological ruler of the heart and the animal totem sacred to Ishtar. The rising of Sirius took place on the 26th July, in ancient Egypt, which marked the beginning of the Egyptian new year. In modern times and different latitudes, the date for the rising of Sirius varies considerably. Nonetheless, the eighth day of the eighth month is considered especially potent and when combined with the eight-pointed star of Ishtar, the numerical frequency of the spiritual portal or doorway that opens on 8 August becomes 888.

The 888 frequency will stimulate your soul in its unique way. It facilitates a deepening intimacy between the spiritual worlds and the Earth plane, an amplification of light and an outpouring of positive blessings for humanity. It is believed many, if not all, cosmic avatars who come to Earth as advanced spiritual guides hail from Sirius and make their blessings increasingly available to humanity during this opening between the worlds.

This Oracle brings a message of a breakthrough in healing, of a significant lightning up of your life and the end of a deeply challenging cycle in your life. There is a special divine dispensation augured by the Oracle of Ishtar’s Lion Gate 888. Where hope has been difficult to find, or all seems lost, the light shall return and beautiful blessings are destined to unfold in your life.

See, sense, intend or feel a radiant star rising above the horizon, bringing with it the beginning of a new dawn. It is a white powerful sun and emanating rainbow-coloured rays of hope, wisdom, peace, abundance, and love. You become aware of a second brilliant white sun, our sun, following its rise above the horizon. Two massive, radiant white spiritual suns emanate all colours and blessings on their rays. Both are visible on the horizon. There is a sense that something very special is happening, an unusually powerful and unconditionally positive portal of healing is opening up for all hearts. Let yourself rest in the dual lights of these Suns as they soak into your soul.

You can imagine you carry the light of these two sons in your heart always, and that through your heart - and all willing and capable hearts - the lights of these Suns shine continuously on the inner dimensions for the spiritual benefit of all beings.

You may like to rest a hand on your heart to ground this acknowledgment, capacity, and vision. Bring yourself back to the here and now with some physical movement and plenty of hydration. You have completed your healing process.”
