Angel Messages - Follow the Stream

Tonight, when I checked in with Spirit as to which deck was going to offer a card for this week’s Angel Messages, the immediate response was The Healing Waters Oracle deck created by Rebecca Campbell. The rationale from Spirit for that choice was “because the world needs so much healing right now.” With the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela this week, the tenuous peace agreement in the Middle East, the continued bombing of civilians in the Ukraine-Russia war, and a continuing epidemic in Africa – a few of the global events that need healing – I couldn’t agree more. The messages and energy of tonight’s card can assist us in navigating those negative global vibrations. The card is Follow The Stream.

My Messages:

“Go With the Flow”

Just as our last card from this deck in February reminded us, so too does this card remind us to

“go with the flow.” The gently winding stream in the image and the immediate reminder from Spirit brings in a calming energy. We are reminded to “Trust” as the card says meeting each curve in our path with confidence and gratitude for the learning that it brings as we continue to move forward on our journey. We are getting repeated messages from Spirit these days about TRUSTING that everything is for our highest good. To trust that the challenges are there for a reason and to believe in ourselves that we can address those challenges head on and be successful in working though them.

Spirit also wants to clarify that “going with the flow” is not just passively sitting back and letting life take you in any direction. They are reminding us that we still “need a rudder on our ship” and that we need to take action in choosing the direction we want to flow in as well as working with the flow to move forward effortlessly.

Just as the waters of Mother Earth continuously flow no matter what, so too will you proceed along your spiritual path, no matter what. Some of the planet’s waters do slow down or even dry up and others may become stagnant or unhealthy. Spirit is reassuring us that should we feel our movement has become stalled or stagnant, we are being gently guided to find a new direction to flow into, just as the waters on the planet move from dried creek beds and stagnant lakes to new routes or destinations through the evaporation and precipitation cycle. Whatever the challenge, Spirit is reminding us that it is our “dedication” to our purpose, to our vision of the future, which continues to propel us forward past those challenges.

Follow Your Heart

The water of this card is the element connected to emotions. “Follow the stream” is a reminder to follow how we feel about something, to pay attention to our feelings, our emotions. This aligns with the many reminders to continue to live from a heart centred space. When we view the world through the heart, by how we feel about things versus think, we are getting closer to that future world where we will live in love and gratitude versus fear.

Vision for the Future

The image on the card shows a portal at the top of a large waterfall. There is a small figure at the base of the waterfall, and it appears as if she is separating the waterfall like a curtain. The analogy of the waterfall as a curtain as well as the majority of the card’s image being shrouded in a mist, represent the uncertain vision of our future. There is still a lack of clarity, but we are getting closer. The figure is able to part the “curtain” to view the other side. As she looks up, she can see a clear portal to the future.

The light of the portal is brighter than the surrounding mist, promising a bright future. All we need is dedicated action and trust to get there. In our dedicated action we will stand strong against adversity holding fast to our values and beliefs that serve us, standing in our sovereignty dedicated to our vision of the future, dedicated to our purpose. Spirit says this is especially important now as the noise and chaos of the world around us increases.

The portal is at the top of a huge waterfall, and the figure is at the bottom of that waterfall.

You might ask how she could ever get to the portal. Again, Spirit is telling us to trust. In that trust we must be open to the guidance that they are continually providing for us. Perhaps when the figure parts the waterfall waters at the base, she will discover a magical way to access the portal. Spirit is informing us that our future “is so much bigger than your current life and even what you can dream of.” As we “follow the stream” to those “future rivers and oceans” we will discover a whole new world. We just need to trust and act on the guidance we receive. We need to trust that we are supported in moving forward just as the waters from the heavens enhance the strength and speed of the rivers’ waters and in some cases, even change their direction. Our world will then expand from one small river to a vast ocean.

Spirit is also reminding us that those future rivers flow into the ocean. Many individual rivers meet and become part of the single ocean. This is a reminder that as we journey, we will connect with others and the closer we get to our destination, the more we will feel and live as “part of the one.” We will embody the concept of “oneness,” that we are all connected. Understanding and living in oneness creates a world of peace and love. There is no room for any disparities or negative low vibrational emotions.

Guidebook Messages:

“Streams can begin as small trickles in up and end up as immense rivers and vast oceans. They've been providing humanity with sustenance since we first appeared on this planet. Follow the stream and trust that you that one day it will carry you to the rivers and oceans of your future.

You're being called to surrender to the current of the waters that you're in - to trust the path you're walking and to keep showing up day after day to what you're building. What might seem like a small trickle right now holds the promise of becoming a river or ocean in the world. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and trust your path.

This is a card of trust. You may not yet be able to see the future outcome, or perhaps you're not quite sure how to get to where you're going. On the journey, there will be many steps that require faith. This may be one of them. You're being encouraged to find that faith. To keep facing your true north, to follow the stream and let it carry you.

So, commit to your passions and be dedicated to what you're creating. Keep showing up day after day after day. If you do, before you know it, you'll have created something huge simply by showing up in small consistent ways.
