Angel Messages - The Way Forward Is Open

This week I am travelling so I brought with me the deck that provides messages from the Archangel who is always by my side - Archangel Michael. The deck is The Archangel Michael Sword of Light Oracle Deck created by Radleigh Valentine. Archangel Michael is often thought of as a warrior fiercely protecting us. He does this by using his sword of light to assist us in releasing anything and everything that no longer serves us. He also assists us in discovering our true, life purpose. He provides clarity and helps us live according to our own truth. What greater companion can we have during these uncertain times on our planet? As an Archangel he wants to reassure all of us that he and all of the angels are omnipresent so they can be with an endless number of us at the same time. He also wants us to know how much we are deeply loved by all of the Angels and the Divine. Archangel Michael’s message today from card #32 The Way Forward Is Open leads us to joy.

You Are Free!

Archangel Michael’s message perfectly dovetails with the numerological energy of this month

as well as the card for this month that Spirit had me pull at the beginning of the year. Numerologically as the tenth month of the year, October is a “one month” (1+0=1). One is the number of new beginnings and manifestation. We are encouraged to keep our thoughts positive so that we bring in the positive energy we desire. Archangel Michael is telling us that the way forward to those new beginnings is open. In fact, he really wants us to understand how supported we are to move forward on our spiritual path NOW. Many of us have felt mired down or stuck during the heavy weight of September which had trickled into the beginning of this month. He is telling us that we are no longer stuck. Today, Archangel Michael tells us “You’re not trapped!” He is also reinforcing the message from the card for this month, “Ego” from the Angel Wisdom Tarot (See Angel Numbers for each Month of 2025 – part 2: July – Dec). The card speaks of the “illusion of being trapped” and shows us Archangel Michael using his sword of light to break the chains that the ego has bound us with. He truly is there for us guiding us to “personal and spiritual freedom.” Are you ready to break free?

We have done the hard work in this year of transformation, and the way is now clear for us to accelerate our spiritual growth. The map on the card shows us the journey will still consist of some twists and turns in the road, but they will be easier. The path on the map finds its way through the valley in the mountains versus labouring over the peaks. It takes us around the dense forest rather than feeling our way through its darkness. It has us proceeding straight through the desert rather than meandering in its starkness. You have shown such strength and growth so far this year. Continue to stand in your power. The map shows us how very close we are to finding true joy and the footsteps on the map show us Archangel Michael is with us helping us move forward. With his help and your strength, you have got this! Believe in yourself!

Opportunities for Growth

The “Ego” card tells us that this month we find ourselves at a turning point and Archangel Michael is reminding us today to be open to the possibilities and opportunities that are presented to us. We are reminded to move away from the mind and the ego and into our heart. As we approach life with an open heart, love, and compassion, we will see the golden opportunities Spirit is sending our way. Watch for signs – repeating numbers, animals catching your attention, more intuitive thoughts, messages from oracle cards that you pull, etc. The signs are everywhere as Spirit is always talking to us, helping us to see what they are presenting to us. What signs have you been seeing lately? What messages have you been receiving from Spirit? What opportunities do they point to?

This is card #32. In angel numbers, three is the number that reassures us that our entire spiritual team – Guides, Ascended Masters, passed loved ones, etc. – is supporting us on our journey and in particular this stage on which we are embarking. They want us to work with them – speak to them, listen for their guidance, and open your heart to the possibilities they will present. Open your heart to receiving their support, know that you are worthy of it! The number two in angel numbers tells us to stop worrying and that everything will be ok. It encourages to reach out for help to our spiritual team and others when we need it. Most importantly though, it tells us “don’t stop believing” in ourselves and in our destination. Remember to keep those thoughts positive. Together, the numbers add up to five which is the number of change. Coming changes also speak of opportunities and possibilities so keep your eyes, ears, mind, and especially your heart open!

Find Your Joy

Lastly, the background colour of the card is a beautiful turquoise alternating with the white of the light of Source. Turquoise is the colour of Archangel Sandalphon who helps move our prayers quickly to Source and returns the answers quickly and clearly. This is another reminder to keep our thoughts positive as Spirit is eager to grant us what we ask for. It is also a reminder to be clear on our goals, the destination of our journey. Ultimately, we are here to experience joy which is anchored in the heart. If we truly believe we deserve to have joy, desire it wholeheartedly, and trust that Spirit will support us in acquiring it, then all of the life events along the way will fall in place to bring us to that end. The secret is to open our hearts to feeling that joy. Can you feel it?

“It is a common human experience to feel as though you are trapped. This may be due to challenging relationships, financial worries, or career difficulties.

While I see how it could appear as though you have no options in this situation, there are possibilities out there. And more opportunities will make themselves apparent once you open your heart to them. If you continue to use words like ‘trapped’ and ‘stuck,’ you close your mind to what alternatives might be available. Refuse to see yourself as powerless. You are a child of the Divine, and there is nothing you cannot do.

Allow me to use my sword of light to sever your energetic connections to those negative self stories. Let’s look at your life with new eyes and adopt a new attitude of hope together.”
