Angel Messages - Ancestral Realm

As we move away from the energy of the past Super Full Moon which caused old wounds to rise from deep within ourselves, we enter into the energy of the Super New Moon in Taurus in just a few days (April 27). For many, those deep wounds go far back along ancestral lines and as they are healed, the energy of the coming New Moon supports us in building a firm foundation to move forward. I was considering pulling a card from another deck today, but Spirit redirected me to the Gateway of Light Activation Oracle created by Kyle Gray. I am not surprised that the card Ancestral Realm came forward referring to that ancestral realm we have been clearing.

As you may remember, according to the author of the deck, these cards are “a window, a

stargate, a gateway that allows you to travel energetically through time and space to connect with divine guidance, whether from the infinite intelligence of the universe, divine beings, your own spiritual anatomy, or the highest form of intelligence within.” He explains that the cards mirror the messages within you and using the cards gives permission to uncover those deep messages. The messages within you are accessed through your heart. They remind you of your innate power, wisdom, and connection to the universe because you ARE the Universe. The word activation refers to activating the knowledge and wisdom within us that we carry from many lifetimes. Many of our gifts lie dormant but through activation the energy within will be awakened to support our spiritual development. The card may take you on a journey, but the wisdom gained will bring you back to a stronger, more centred, and more powerful you.

Healing Ancestral Wounds

Many of you may know that you chose to be present on this planet at this amazing time of transformation because you have incredible strength and light to offer the world. One of your tasks for this lifetime is to carry and heal ancestral wounds. You have been chosen because of your strength and ability to heal the wounds that have persisted for lifetimes along your ancestral lineage. Their burden may seem heavy, and you may have wondered where the heck the issues needing healing have come from especially if they seem irrelevant to your current lifetime. If you dig a little deeper as so much of the work this year has asked us to do, you will likely recognize a lifetime where the issues were present. Memories may arise during dreams or meditation, or you may access them during a reading of your akashic records. You will recognize the wounds along your ancestral lineage, the energy of them being passed from generation to generation. This beautiful card speaks about “Healing the lineage.” It is confirmation that this is part of your path, and that NOW is the time.

When those ancestral wounds are healed, there will be “karmic release” as the card indicates. Karma, as you know, is the law of cause and effect or in other words, “what goes around, comes around.” With Karmic release we are recognizing the issues/wounds we have been carrying, understanding them, and then letting them go. Sometimes the understanding is simply all we need to do to release. Other times, we may need to practice forgiveness or learn other life lessons to release the ancestral wound.

The pillar energy rising to the top of the image in front of the gateway shows the energetic release of those ancestral wounds. It is in front of the gateway symbolizing our release before we step through the gateway to what is beyond. The pillar of golden light appears to have flame-like shapes at its based encouraging us to burn and transmute what no longer serves us. The helix structure around the pillar is symbolic of resilience, personal growth, and transformation involved in the healing and illustrates the interconnectedness of our ancestral lines. Spirit is reminding us that the two strands are symbolic of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine balanced and working together just as we will embody those energies as we proceed through this time of transformation. The helix also symbolizes the cycles of life reassuring us that now is the time in our life when we are supported in healing our ancestral wounds.

Slow and Steady

As we pass through the portal in the image, we enter a place reminiscent of Stonehenge, an ancient megalithic structure in England. Could this be the ancestral realm where we can walk amongst those we have healed? The stone pillars are firmly placed on the ground and able to stand upright without supports. They are showing us the stability we are creating as we heal old wounds. Like the stone pillars, we can stand tall and strong. As the upcoming New Moon energy coming in suggests, we will be grounded and have a firm foundation to move forward from.

The pillars may also appear as barriers along our path, but they are not a solid wall, and we only need flexibility and ingenuity to work our way around them. Perhaps they are more wounds that need to be healed. Spirit is encouraging us to listen to and trust our intuition and we will know the way to proceed. The New Moon invites us to slow down and go within to connect to our true selves and TRUST our inner knowing. As we face barriers, we are encouraged to be patient and hopeful; to recognize that we are not stuck, we simply need to make a detour. The pillars also appear to be within a circle of flattened ground. As the card refers to boundaries, this circle reminds us that the detour does not have to have us stray too far off path to bypass barriers. We can still act within the boundaries we set for ourselves.

Healing the Future

Beyond the pillars is a beautiful, lush valley that leads us to the sunny, “brilliant future” we are striving for. When we heal ancestral wounds, we are not only going along timelines into the past, but we are also moving into the future. The healing is for your entire lineage along all timelines. When you fulfill this role, you are creating a ripple effect in all directions. As we move towards that future, Spirit wants us to remember to call on our ancestors for their help and guidance just as the mountains in the image shape the valley’s path towards the light.

The fertile valley also reminds us to connect with nature in remembering our true selves. The predominate colour green is the colour of healing, but it is also the colour of communication. As we communicate with the ancestral realm some mysteries about our own journey may unravel. Above all, Spirit wants you to recognize your tremendous value in bringing this healing to your lineage. You are a Divine light leading the way.

 Guidebook Messages:

“In every incarnation we have been blessed to be part of a lineage that helps us live our life and embark on learning experiences. And for hundreds and even thousands of years, those who have walked the Earth before us have prayed for a better life. We are an answer to those prayers. Even though they may no longer be on the physical plane, our ancestors are living through our choices and experiences.

None of our ancestors had it perfect – after all, they were human too. They made poor choices. They had mistaken views. Many of their intentions were honourable; many were not. All of this is held within the ancestral lineage, as are many beliefs, ideas, and limitations that are outdated, fear-based, and even harmful. All these karmic energies can hold us back. But when someone decides to walk the spiritual path, whether they realize it or not, their life becomes an answer to their ancestors’ prayers. When this card comes to you, your life is an answer to a great ancestral call.

Place your hands on your heart and say either internally or out loud ‘Great ancestors, earthly

lineage, soul lineage, thank you for bringing to my awareness the karmic blockages that are preventing me from reaching my greatest potential.’

Your Message

This card initiates healing on all levels, but particularly on the family line. There may be some ideas and beliefs in your family that you find limiting or negative. Know that they need not be your truth. You have the opportunity to go beyond the challenging energies of your family lineage. if you are in a particularly challenging time or facing energies that are harsh and even overwhelming, the energy of your ancestors is with you now. They are here to hold a sacred and safe space so that you can rest.

Your ancestors are surrounding you now. They are here to seek forgiveness for any harmful decisions that were made without full awareness and for any negative effects those are having on you now. If you have found that a particular family member has been difficult, or a relationship has been negatively impacted because of situations or ideas that stem from the past, know that a great cleansing is taking place at this time. The ointment for the wound is the energy of forgiveness. This isn’t about accepting what happened as “fine” but realizing that the energies of the past no longer govern your present. It’s about choosing to create your own happiness and live from your own heart. Keep your boundaries strong but be open to carving out a new path.”
