Throughout her life Marilyn’s intuition served her well especially as a mother and in her long career as a Registered Nurse. Her father’s death in 1991, was the trigger to the resurgence of her interest in the metaphysical. Her library of books, seminars and online courses from Spiritual teachers grew and she completed studies in different healing and helping modalities including Healing Touch, Reiki, angel card reading, and Angel Numerology. In 2011, her journey accelerated as she learned how to work with the incredible gift of being an Empath and began to connect with Spirit on a deeper level. This enhanced connection brought clarity to her life purpose as a healer and teacher. She then discovered that retirement from nursing in early 2021 did not mean it was time to stop helping, to stop serving others. Rather, it presented an opportunity for change, to build on life experiences and lessons learned, and to choose an exciting new path that aligned even more with her soul’s purpose.
Today, Marilyn embraces her gifts and integrates them into all aspects of her life. She is a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is a caring and sensitive spiritual practitioner, a teacher and mentor, and an aspiring writer. In her current work as an Empath, Intuitive Counsellor and Healer, her passion is to assist others to discover their inner strength and conquer their unique challenges in creating the life they are meant to live. On a broader basis, for the last two years, Spirit has provided the inspiration and messages for a weekly newsletter Marilyn writes and distributes through her website knowing that whoever needs to hear those messages will find them when they need them. Health care also has a special place in Marilyn’s heart, and she has been guided to help healers explore integrating a spiritual perspective into health care. In all of her endeavours, Marilyn is honoured to help others discover the wisdom and healing that Spirit has for their mind, body, and soul to guide them forward on their journey.
